what I have learned about civics

I have learned many things about civics ever since this class has been going on. I have learned how many steps there are to make a bill a law, and I have also learned the amount of amendments there are.

We have decided that bill tower defense was not educational and related to civics. So we are making a new game called Bill Collector. It is kind of like the game snake. Only in this game you collect certain bills in a certain order.

Our game progress is coming along very nicely. We are getting our characters moving, being able to move it around, the sound, and the background. I have had to do so much research on the bill process I finally learned how it goes.

Our new game will be about how a bill is processed. It will be a tower defense type of game were the different bills are stopped by certain parts of the government.

adding interaction

adding interaction to our game was somewhat challenging. We made all of our buttons in our game go to where they were supposed to go. I have a new respect for buttons now

Bill Processing Defense

Our new game will deal with how each government takes care of their own bills.It is called Bill Processing Defense. The game will have a tower defense format were you will have to get a certain branch of government to "process" the bills.

adding anamation

adding anamation is were we told the button were to go and what to do.

drawing in flash

drawing in flash was very annoying, but it was fun. Having to think about what you draw was kind of challenging. Although my heart does look awful at least I finished.

HHS.gov

HHS.gov is a very informational sight. That is were my group is getting all of its information on organs for our game.

planning your game

Planning your game lesson was kind of difficult because we couldn't come up with an idea. So we all finally decided on a game on organs. It is good idea because we all know about them. This should be interesting to work on.

adding navigation

This adding navigation wasn't as hard as I thought. It was as annoying as I thought it would be but not as hard. The only problems I had with this entire thing was the codes and getting them in the right place. But now that I know how to do it I could probably do it with no problem

sound

Adding sound to a game is actually harder than I thought . It takes a lot of thinking to make the right sound and make it sound good all at the same time. Mine was just a little easier than everyones because mine only needed a heart beat noise

what I learned

I learned that your heart beats about 100,000 times a day. That is a lot of heart beats. The heart also circulates blood by beating.

How our game deals with civics

It show and tells about the organs and organ functions and organ downers are really important in todays economy.

We finally came up with the name livers up for my groups game title. It took us a long time to think of that. I think our groups game will be very challenging and very educational.

imagining your game

Imagining your game was a good idea. It gives all of us a chance to think about what ou game will be about. Then it also gave us more ideas for our games.

mini game project

I liked this project. It was very different and very confusing. If you didn't follow directions it would not work properly.

games

The games were ok but I don't think I could get into them. Except september 12. That game was funny . It was about you choosing a character (I recommend a child) to run and get water from a well and then run back without being caught

CLass rules

You should always listen to the teacher. You should never have food or drinks near the computers. You should never use foul language in the classroom

Want to accomplish

I want to make a good shooting or adventure game using globoloria. It seems like it will be a fun class. I will hopefully make a good game
